Privacy policy
Last updated 1 March 2026.
Cosmetic Surgeons is an editorial website published for readers in Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
You can read the journal without creating an account. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you submit. Server logs may record an IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which our hosting provider uses to keep the site available and secure.
Why we collect it
Contact details are used only to reply to your enquiry — corrections, pitches, guest-post questions or privacy requests. We do not sell mailing lists. We do not use the form to offer surgical bookings.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered to support@worldwidebacklinks.com. Hosting and partnership administration may be handled with Worldwide Backlinks. Those processors sit outside this newsroom; ask us if you need a current sub-processor list.
Cookies and analytics
We do not set advertising cookies. If a future analytics script is added, this page will name the provider and the retention period.
How long we keep messages
Editorial correspondence is kept for up to two years unless a longer period is required to resolve a complaint or legal claim. You may ask us to delete a message sooner if we no longer need it.
Access, correction and complaints
Email support@worldwidebacklinks.com or use the contact form to request access or correction. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Children
This journal is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Content about procedures sometimes performed on adolescents (for example otoplasty) is still addressed to parents and treating practitioners, not to minors.
